For food trucks & pop-ups
PlateLogic for food trucks
Guests scan, order and pay from their phone. You get the ticket on your tablet, tap Ready, and Pro adds order-ready texts. No buzzers, no new hardware and no commission.
Made for a kitchen on wheels
Shorten the line
Stick a QR code on the window or picnic tables. Guests browse your menu and pay on their own phone while your crew keeps cooking.
Ready alerts on Pro
No buzzers to lose and no shouting names over a festival crowd. With SMS alerts enabled on Pro, tap Ready and the guest gets a text.
No new hardware
The kitchen board and counter screens run in the browser on any phone or tablet, over Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot.
Zero commission
One flat monthly price. Food money goes straight to your own Stripe or Clover account, not to a middleman.
Tell guests where you'll be
Set hours and pause ordering in one tap when you pack up, sell out or move to the next stop.
Built for the rush
Pre-orders and scheduled pickup spread out the lunch spike, and items mark themselves sold out as stock runs low.

Food truck FAQ
- Does PlateLogic work for food trucks?
- Yes. Guests order from a QR code or your link and pay online through your connected payment provider. Your crew runs everything from a phone or tablet. Pro adds order-ready text alerts; a data connection is required.
- Do I need internet in the truck?
- You need a data connection on the device, such as a phone hotspot or venue Wi-Fi. No special terminal is required.
- Do you take a cut of each order?
- No PlateLogic commission on direct orders. You pay a flat monthly subscription plus normal card processing from your own payment provider.
- Can I still take cash and card at the window?
- Yes. Staff can ring up walk-up orders on the counter screen alongside online orders, so every ticket lands on one kitchen board.
